Lupines have always been one of my favorite flowers. One of the first signs of spring to appear in my garden is my Lupine ‘Gallery Red‘ & ‘Gallery Blue‘ they just remind me that summer is on its way!

(Lupine) Lupinus ‘Gallery Red’ is an extremely hardy Lupine selection with spikes of delicate, pea-shaped, red flowers. Hummingbirds and butterflies love the intense red color of this great perennial!  ‘Gallery Red’ is an incredible performer for Northern gardens.

Calibrachoa Calle Deep Yellow Photo Property of Garden Crossings

When I plant any combination planter for myself,  Callie Deep Yellow is a must have!!! I love the deep yellow color of the Callie’s and also their performance. The best I have seen in a Calibrachoa. One plant fills out very nicely and spills over the hanging basket with a mass of color. By far the best yellow trailing plant on the market!!!

Silmakivi

This has to be one of my favorite Clematis plants!!! It bloomed early-mid summer and lasted until sometime in August. The blooms are huge and are a nice blue shade. Once it started to bloom it was a mass of color. The first time I saw this plant in bloom was when I was shipping it out to a customer that ordered it. I have a ton of clematis in my yard and they are nice, but this one was one that I had to have. I even put it in one of the most special/standoutish places in my yard, on my mailbox. It grows to about 4-5 foot tall so I would recommend giving it something to climb on. A simple flat trellis will do, it doesn’t have to be fancy because you will not see it after a while, it will be covered!!!

Woodside Gold

You may take a look at the photo and wonder “what is so great about this plant”. Well I will tell you. This Columbine is great for early spring color. Not only does it flower early but it has FANTASTIC foliage color. From my house window about 200 foot away, this was one of the first plants that stood out in my garden. The bright lime green foliage! I first thought it was a Heuchera (Coral Bells), but when I walked out back I found it was this little beauty. The bonus is the light pink through deep pink flowers that appear.
